The new esoteric single by Shari Rowe, “Southern Spells,” is set to charm country radio on May 22. Following her successful release of “Take That Shot,” listeners will hear the same bluegrass and classic country infused sound they know from Shari, yet be mystified by the enchanting aura of the newly-produced spell-bound track. The strong rhythm and western style fiddle set the tone for the new hit, as it takes you through the cryptic storyline brought forth by the charm and effrontery of a Southern belle. “Southern Spells” encompasses an alluring tale, to be released soon.
"Southern Spells" follows the successful release of "Take That Shot," a tune cowritten by Rowe, which led to a social media kindness campaign. The two tracks were produced by Grammy award-winning studio The Rukkus Room (Justin Moore, Thomas Rhett), and feature a stellar, all-star lineup of some of Nashville's best musicians, including Jimmy Mattingly on fiddle (Garth Brooks, Keith Urban), Jimmy Nichols on keys (Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill), Tommy Harden on drums (Reba McEntire, Blake Shelton), Joeie Canaday on bass (Keith Urban, Cam) and Steven Sheehan on acoustic guitar (Trisha Yearwood, Alabama).
